Milk… we drink it every day, it’s become a part of our so called daily routine, but could it be fatal to our physical health?

The generalization of milk spread around the world was based on one’s the flawed belief that this protein and calcium-rich drink is essential to support good overall health and bone health in particular at any age. It is quite simple to understand that the confusion about milk’s imaginary benefits stems from the fact that it contains calcium, around 300 mg per cup.

Shockingly many scientific studies have shown an assortment of detrimental health effects directly linked to milk consumption. And the most surprising link is that not only do we barely absorb the calcium in cow’s milk, but to make matters far worse, it increases calcium loss from your bones.

You see, calcium is an excellent acid neutralizer and most of it is stored in your bones, so the same calcium your bones need to stay strong is used neutralizing the acidifying effect of milk making one feel rather at ill-ease.

However milk is important to fight diseases, renew cells, build muscles and maintain healthy hair and nails. It also contains several nutrients that can be exceptional to your health such as proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, lipids(fats) and minerals

So, is milk good for your health? The answer to that question depends on how much of it you’re drinking, if you drink milk in moderation, then yes it is favorable, unfortunately consuming large quantities of this drink can cause severe problems for your well being.
