Ah, Fall. It’s a magical time of year that has a perfect ratio of exciting activities and lazy days. The leaves on the trees turn into warm, earthy tones and everything about the atmosphere around us changes. A cool breeze blows through the pumpkin patches and county fairs as we find ourselves in a refreshing state with relaxing temperatures that don’t make our faces melt completely off. There are many things to look forward to during the autumn months and here’s a few of them.

Cozy Sweaters. With the sun no longer bringing skin cancer and hellish heat onto our exteriors, we will finally have the incentive to wear the coziest sweaters in our closets. This time of year brings true meaning to “sweater weather,” not to mention the angels fabric (fleece blankets), and boots.

Thanksgiving. Who doesn’t want an excuse to stuff their faces with tasty foods that you won’t even have to feel guilty about? Thanksgiving is a day to look back and appreciate all of the blessings that were given to us. Although I personally am extremely thankful for everything in my life, I go for my grandma’s homemade pumpkin pie. The real question is, do you really blame me?

Halloween. Candy, scary movies, and cool costumes. Need I say more?

TV Shows. By far one of the best things about autumn is the TV shows. September, October, and November are the prime times for TV shows to start back up again. After freaking out all summer, we finally get to see what happens to our favorite characters.

Leaves. Finally, the most amazing part of fall are the leaves. Around every corner there are beautiful colors that make everything feel more like home. The air is fresher and the scenery is prettier. We are finally given the opportunity to actually enjoy the nature that gets taken for granted on a daily basis. What could get any better than that?
