Spiderman Homecoming is a 2017 American Superhero film directed by Jon Watts and was distributed into theaters by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.

Knowing that Infinity War is almost here, I decided I would give the older films of the Marvel cinematic universe a re-watch again.

The Plot: A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Character’s

Spider-Man: Only 15, Peter is a geeky genius who moonlights as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man — after he finishes school that is. His awkwardness and immaturity makes him relate able to any viewer who is going through or went through adolescence.

The Vulture: A salvager-turned arms-trafficker after his company was forced out of business. Vulture uses a suit with mechanical wings forged from Chitauri technology. His only motivation is to provide for his family AT ALL COSTS,

Quality: Good effects, acting, like able characters, and a good follow up to the events of Captain America: Civil War, Spider-man Homecoming is a fresh and fun take on a familiar and beloved character. The small scale and focus on characters makes Homecoming a very relate able and personal film. Most of the humor lands, but their are a few political jokes in the film that fall really flat. Zendaya’s character in particular MJ, is one if not the worst Marvel characters of all time and thankfully is scarcely in the film, but she could have easily been this films Jar Jar Binks.

Conclusion: After two semi successful franchises in less than a decade, Spider-Man Homecoming keeps things fresh ,and takes the wall crawler to new places while keeping things to a welcomed smaller scale.
