With Valentine’s Day around the corner you might start to think what you are going to get your special someone. Does a gift really show how much you care about that other person or is there another way to show them just how special they really are to you?

I started by just asking my family members what they would want for Valentine’s Day. Both my Mom and Dad said just spending the day with me would be great. My 12-year-old sister on the other hand said any gift card over $20. Then I went to some of my Moms co-workers. Half said they just want to spend the day with their loved ones; while the other half said chocolate and flowers. So I guess what I have learned is that people really do have different love languages. Out of the 5 different love languages, the most people I talked to either had the love language of quality time or gifts. You just really have to know the other person to get them the perfect gift.
